Furtherfield is subject to English data protection legislation in respect of the personal information you submit to us, or which we collect. When we refer to children and young people’s data, please note that this may include data such as names, images (including images and videos, please see above) where children and young people attend our activities, and via the provision and administration of projects.

In line with current legislation, any member of staff working with children and/or vulnerable persons will be DBS checked.

Google Analytics

We also collect information about your computer and about your visits to, and use of, this website through Google Analytics including: geographical location, browser type and version, operating system, referral source, length of visit and page views. This information is anonymous and cannot be used to identify you personally.

Third Parties websites

Our website may contain links to other websites which are outside of our control and are not covered by this privacy notice. If you access other sites using the links provided, the operators of these sites may collect information from you which will be used by them in accordance with their privacy policy, which may differ from ours.

How we store your personal information

Your information is securely stored on our server, on Google Workspace and Mailchimp.
We retain your personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by us, or as required or permitted for legal, reporting, regulatory and legitimate business purposes. In determining retention periods, we take into account the purposes we collected your data for, along with the sensitivity and any legal or other requirements. We will then dispose of this information by deleting it permanently from our records and any backups.

Furtherfield has implemented appropriate technical and organisational measures to keep personal data that you provide to us secure. We use reliable electronic systems that provide data minimisation, anonymisation, access controls, encryption and other features to protect your personal information.
